Jack Calhoun
Director of Quality Management
Jack Calhoun has been the director of quality management at Consumer Services, Inc. since April 2007. He directs a team of experienced, quality and marketing professionals in monitoring, communicating and facilitating the improvement of Consumer Services, Inc's services. Jack has more than 24 years of experience in the mental health field as both clinician and administrator. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Olivet Nazarene University, where he studied Psychology and Religion.
After graduating college he did clinical work with diverse populations, including persons with developmental disabilities, persons with mental illnesses, offenders of domestic violence, and persons with substance use disorders. Jack is drawn to working in the mental health arena because he believes that personal mental health and wholeness is the key to personal happiness and fulfillment.
For the past fifteen years Jack has worked in the area of quality management. He has worked with public and private agencies across the state of Michigan, assisting them to meet their strategic goals and address quality improvement. Jack was instrumental in the early development of quality management practices in public mental health system across the state of Michigan.
Jack has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 18 years and is the father of two sons, with whom he enjoys biking and traveling. In his down time, Jack is an aspiring historian, focusing his attention on the history of Michigan and the presidency. Jack is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Wesley Foundation at Michigan State University and a member of the Michigan Association of Evaluation.
