Danilo Tuazon, Jr.
Director of Flint Operations
Danilo Tuazon, Jr. has been working with Consumer Services, Inc. since August 2006. Danilo began his career with Consumer Services, Inc. as a case manager, working with consumers with mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness. He became the program director of Consumer Services, Inc. Supports Coordination Office at Macomb Oakland Regional Center in March 2007, and was later promoted to operations director of Flint Case Management in late 2009.
Danilo started his social work career working with developmentally disabled consumers as a direct care staff in Washtenaw County. While completing his master’s degree in social work at Eastern Michigan University, Danilo worked with the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County. Danilo developed and enhanced his skills in being able to assess, diagnose, and provide the necessary treatment for people with co-occurring disorders.
Among his interests are social and justice issues impacting the oppressed and under privileged, culturally specific services for children and families of color, psycho-spiritual dimension of practice and education, addictive behaviors, and racial identity development.
