Crisis Residential
For clients who need a place to heal, or recover, Consumer Services, Inc. has one acute crisis stabilization home in Jackson County. The home provides six beds, and offers a therapeutic, safe, and nurturing atmosphere where people can heal.
Clients are offered daily crisis interventions, as well as an array of other mental health services. The caring staff will provide the right services to help each client through their stressful time.
How We Can Help
Our highly trained staff will help a client gain independence and skills at their own pace. Residents may stay from one day, up to two weeks. During that time, our staff will listen and help them discover what they need in their life to prevent future crisis situations. We accomplish this through:
- Assistance with health needs
- Assistance with medication management
- Goal planning – an individualized plan that outlines their goals and needs
- Assistance with daily self-care
- Group therapy and other skills groups
- Transportation coordination

Admission Criteria
In order to be admitted into a crisis home, a person must be pre-screened by their local community mental health. A person’s symptoms must meet one of the following criteria in order to be admitted:
- A diagnosis of major mental illness.
- Mental illness with co-occurring disorder.
- Meets psychiatric inpatient admission criteria
- Symptoms and risk can be treated in a non-hospital setting.
How much will services cost?
Fees for service are based on your ability to pay, and your health insurance coverage. Consumer Services, Inc. accepts most private insurance, and will verify coverage and co-pays upon initial contact.
