Danelle Harris
Danelle Harris recently accepted the position as program manager with Consumer Services, Inc. at our Grand Rapids Case Management office. Dani brings with her 24-years of mental health and social services experience.
Dani started her career in 1987 when she hired into a residential treatment home after receiving her Bachelor of Science in sociology. Five years later, Dani received her Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University, and obtained her License in Masters of Social Work (LMSW). To help more consumers, Dani later furthered her qualifications and became a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
Dani used her education and experience to hold several different positions, including clinical supervisor, outpatient therapist, and a primary clinician for people with mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Dani has also been a case manager for people with developmental disabilities.
Dani chose to work within the mental health industry because she loves the eclectic nature of the work, and has a passion for helping people access and utilize the support they deserve to meet their personal goals.
In Dani’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and watching her three children participate various after-school activities. She also currently serves on the Board of Trustees at her church in Grand Rapids.
